The Air Jordan 1 Low Golf “Shattered Backboard” is a modified version of the retro basketball shoe designed for golf in a popular Jordan 1 colorway. The “Shattered Backboard” theme was introduced into the Air Jordan collection in 2015, and is an homage to the overseas exhibition game that Michael Jordan participated in after his rookie season in the NBA. During the game, Jordan famously broke and shattered a glass backboard following a thunderous slam dunk. Here, the “Shattered Backboard” color story appears on the Jordan 1 Low Golf for the first time. The design features Starfish-colored leather on the perforated toe and on the heel. The mid-panel is designed in white leather. The toe cap, forefoot, and eyelets appear in black synthetic nubuck. A glossy black leather Swoosh is found on either side of the shoe while a white “Wings” logo resides on the heel. A Starfish Swoosh with “Air” branding appears on the tongue tag. Small nubs on the outsole provide traction on a golf course. Release date: June 1, 2022 Shattered Backboard
